Studying in Oberschützen
The campus of Oberschützen also provides optimal study conditions: A personal and pleasant atmosphere, a modern and functional building, its own library, instrument rental as well as generous practicing facilities. Oberschützen is surrounded by nature - an university in the countryside, that is unique. The scientific institution of the Pannonian Research Center is also located at the Institute.

Information about Oberschützen
The most beautiful surprises are discovered where you do not expect them. In the middle of nature, in southern Burgenland, you will find the village of Oberschützen, which is said to be the largest “school city” of Europe due to its outstanding educational offer consisting of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, two high schools, the student dormitory, the secondary school, the elementary schools, the day nursery / kindergarten and the music school.
An ideal place for intensive studying and practicing, far from the hustle and bustle and yet close enough to the centers of music in Austria with all the advantages of a small university institute.

Special tip for the study location Oberschützen:
Students have the opportunity to receive a reduced lunch menu with their KUGcard at the "Bundesschülerheim Oberschützen". In addition at the Institute 12 there is the possibility to use a fridge, microwave etc. in the room of the Student Union.
