In principle there is a general obligation to pay tuition fees for all students at all Austrian universities. Exceptions are made to students who are temporarily or completely exempt.

The student fee (= ÖH fee) including 22.70 € for insurance, is to be paid each semester by all students without exception.

If the tuition or student fee is not paid, paid incompletely or paid outside of the stipulated period, a de-registration or non-admission to the study courses will result.

The notice of charges of the tuition fee and due dates can be found in KUGonline or on your online business card under “Tuition Fee Status” (Studienbeitragsstatus).

When transferring money from abroad, please note that fees can (and may) be incurred by you!
