Senate

The Senate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz consists of 18 members and 18 substitute members (each comprising 9 professors, 4 representatives of non-professorial teaching staff, 1 representative of other university staff and 4 students).

The Senate is one of the university’s highest governing bodies along with the University Council and the Rectorate. The Senate’s duties are defined in Section 25 of the Austrian Universities Act (UG).
